Weston Pharmacy Grand Opening, Saturday

A grand opening for Weston Pharmacy takes place on Saturday, October 30, at 1:00 at the Weston Shopping Center.

State Senator Tony Hwang, First Selectwoman Samantha Nestor, and the Weston Center Merchant Association officially welcome Weston’s own Ken and Susan Lee, whose pharmacy is filling prescriptions, selling a variety of goods, and offering flu shots.

Families are welcome, kids can enjoy a Halloween trick-or-treat (costumes are encouraged) and everyone can meet Mr. and Ms. Lee and the proprietors of Peter’s Spirit Shop, RedZone, and the soon-to-come Lily’s Weston Market.

“The pandemic hit Weston’s local businesses hard,” said Senator Hwang. “It closed doors and delayed the opening of new shops. But now we’re coming back.”

“The shopping center is an important part of Weston,” said the senator. “The Lees are a wonderful Weston family, and it’s wonderful for Weston to have the shopping center coming back to life.”

“I’m thrilled that we have the pharmacy back,” said First Selectwoman Nestor, “and I’m so delighted a Weston family stepped up to serve the community, right across the street from the schools, right in the heart of our town.”

“We should support our local businesses the same way we support our community organizations, sports, and the arts. That’s what Weston is all about,” she added.

“And don’t forget to get your flu shot!”
