Prior to registration online make sure you have updated your household account for 2019-2020 school year. Review your family’s household account with your child’s current age, grade, address, phone number, etc. You will not be able to complete the online registration for any program if you do not do this.

FALL PROGRAMS/AQUATICS

Fall Program Registration has begun online on www.westonct.gov/parksandrec and in the Recreation office. Cash or check only to "Town of Weston."

Fall Aquatic Swim Registration has begun on www.westonct.gov/parksandrec and in the Recreation office. Payment in the office is cash or check only to "Town of Weston." You will also find on our website video tutorials to help with your registration. Program questions should be directed to Program Director, Joe at 203-222-2675.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY SWIM LESSONS – FALL

Fall swim lessons are offered on Saturday and Sunday through the American Red Cross. Classes for Parent Toddler (ages 3 -5), Special Needs and Levels 1 -5 will be offered. Day/dates: Saturday, Sept. 21 – Dec. 14th. Sunday, Sept. 22nd – Dec. 15th. Please view flyer on website for times and fees.

SPRINGBOARD DIVING – AGES 8 AND UP

Learn how to dive or work on your dives. Coach Patty Nizlek will teach this Sunday morning program. Must be 8 years or older to register. Dates: Sept. 22nd – Dec. 1st. Fee: $240.00 for 8 classes. Questions, contact Patty at patricianizlek@westonps.org. Registration has begun.

WESTON MIDDLE SCHOOL POOL - OPENING

The Weston Middle School will open for adult/public swim on Saturday, September 21st. Permit fees: Weston family - $150.00, Weston adult - $100.00, drop – in is $5.00 for ages 2 – 61 years. Seniors (ages 62 and up) are free. See separate flyer for times and closing dates. Permits are now available to purchase online and in the Recreation office.

LITTLE KICKERS

Join us for this 30 minute karate class for ages 3 – 5 years. Children will learn the basics of karate, control and discipline. Day/dates: Thursday, Sept. 12th – Nov. 7th. Fee: $150.00 for 8 classes.

MULTI-SPORT TODDLER CLASS

Children will run, skip and gallop in these classes. Participants will learn the correct fundamentals for all our sport programs. Day/dates: Wednesday, Sept. 11th – Oct. 30th. Time: Ages 3 – 5 years will attend 2:35 p.m. – 3:20 p.m. This class is now full. You may leave your child’s name and phone number on a waitlist. Class 2 is for ages 4 – 6 years which begins at 3:45 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Fee: $140.00 for 7 classes. Held at Bisceglie park field 2. Registration has begun.

SPORTS & FITNESS – GRS. K – 2

This program reflects some of the schools PE classes as well as many unique activities. Gr. K instructor Cathy Klein will offer the program. Day/dates: Monday, Sept. 16th – Nov. 18th. Fee: $144.00 for 8 classes. Gr. 1 & 2 will be offered on Wednesday and/or Thursday. Join Hurlbutt P.E. teacher Wyatt Hallgren. Dates: Wednesday, Sept. 11th – Nov. 6th or Thursday, Sept. 12th – Nov. 7th. Fee: $144.00 for either day.

DANCERCISE & JUMP

Boys and girls in grades K – 2 will move through a series of exercise routines in a lively musical environment. Day/dates: Friday, Sept. 13th – Jan. 17th. Fee: $290.00 for 16 classes. Instructor: Cathy Klein.

TENNIS-GRS. K - 2

This is a very popular program and will fill up quickly. Join instructor Doug Barshop for this Tuesday program. Dates: Sept. 10th – Oct. 29th. This program is now full. You may call the Recreation office to leave your name and number to be put on a wait list.

RISE & RUN – GRS. K - 2

Boys and girls will have fun in learning the popular and healthy sport of running. Proper stretching and warm up techniques are taught. Day/dates: Wednesday, Sept. 11th – Nov. 6th. Time: 7:45 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. Fee: $90.00 for 8 classes.

AFTER SCHOOL RUNNING – GRS. 3 – 5

Join instructor Pascale Butcher for this after school running program. Athletes will learn proper stretching, running, pacing and cool down techniques. Day/dates: Wednesday, Sept. 11th – Nov. 6th. Fee: $160.00 for 8 classes.

WIS SPORTS & FITNESS

This tried and true after school program combines fun and exercise while playing some old and new PE games. Days/dates: Monday, Sept. 9th – Nov. 11th, Tuesday, Sept. 10th – Oct. 29th, Wednesday, Sept. 11th – Nov. 6th and/or Thursday, Sept. 12th – Nov. 7th. Fee: $144.00 for each day.

WIS RISE & RUN – GRS. 3 – 5. NEW DAY ADDED!

This morning club gives younger athletes an entry into the popular, fun and healthy sport of running. Day/dates: Monday, Sept. 9th – Nov. 11th. Time: 7:45 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. Fee: $90.00 for 8 classes. This class is now full. You may leave your child’s name and number on a wait list. Wednesday has now been added for this morning club. Program will begin on Wed., Sept. 11th – Nov. 6th.

WIS TENNIS

Participants will learn racquet skills, play games and learn tennis play formats. This is a very popular program and will fill quickly. Day/dates: Friday, Sept. 13th – Nov. 1st. This program is now full. You may call the Recreation office to leave your name and number to be put on a wait list.

WMS CROSS COUNTRY/TRACK & FIELD

WHS coach Medve will take you through all aspects of running and cross country to help improve your technique, pace and love of the sport. Day/dates: Tues, Sept. 10th – Oct. 29th, Thurs., Sept. 12th – Nov. 7th or Tuesday and Thursday, Sept. 10th – Nov. 7th. Fee: $144.00 for 8 classes or $275.00 for 16 classes.

VOLLEYBALL

Volleyball club is a great option for those interested in learning and improving their volleyball skills. Day/dates: Monday, Sept. 9th – Nov. 11th. Fee: $144.00 for 8 classes.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Ultimate Frisbee is one of the fasting growing sports in the world! Skill development, throwing methods and game play will keep your child enjoying the game. Day/dates: Wednesday, Sept. 11th – Nov. 6th. Fee: $155.00 for 8 classes.

e-SPORTS

WHS e-Sports coach Dan Ungar will teach a course on the rapidly growing eSports. In this program players will learn about competitive, organized video gaming and compete in a beginner level of gaming live. Day/dates: Friday, Sept. 13th – Nov. 1st: Fee: $144.00 for 8 classes.

GOOD CITIZEN DOG TRAINING – FALL

Instructor Janet Metzger will be offering a fall dog training course for Puppy Kindergarten, Beginners and Beyond Beginners levels. Classes are offered Saturday, Sept. 7th – Oct. 26th. Questions or register call Janet at 203-938-2951.
