Letter to the Editor

TO THE EDITOR:

At what point is a person held accountable for seditious comments?

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s statement: had she organized January 6th “we would have won. Not to mention, we would’ve been armed.”

This is a member of Congress who took an oath to “support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” This is the same member who condones violence against the very police officers whose duty is to protect members of Congress.

And Ms. Greene goes forward without rebuke from the members of her party. It is difficult to understand how any person can make such comments and not be held accountable. Even more difficult to accept someone like Ms. Greene is in a position to make decisions impacting all law abiding citizens of our country.
