Letter to the Editor

TO THE EDITOR:

It has been a week filled with great sadness, great joy and great pride in our little town.

Sadness with the loss of such a wonderful man, Mark Blake.

Mark was kind, compassionate, caring and hard working for all, and he did it with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. I had the great joy of knowing Mark for many many years and it is a terrible loss to his family, friends and our community.

Pride in our EMT and Volunteer Fire Department.

We are so blessed in Weston to have folks who give up dinners with their families, nights of sleep, time with friends, to give of themselves to take care of all kinds of emergencies in our town.

Mark epitomized the backbone of our community which is volunteerism, that started at the time we became a town. God bless Mark and the EMT and WVFD of Weston.
