TO THE EDITOR:

I wholeheartedly endorse Samantha Nestor for First Selectwoman.

Not by her choice, Samantha had to quickly step into the role of First Selectwoman. In just a few short months, she has grasped the issues facing Weston and has tackled them head on. Of primary importance to me was the issue of communication. Her weekly Town Hall Happenings has completely changed the way Westonites receive information.

It is an exciting time for Weston. Sidewalks on School Road, changes to zoning in the town center, and the potential for an education center at the Lachat Town Farm bring opportunity to the town for the first time in many many years.

We need an experienced leader who can navigate the challenges we will face. First Selectwoman Samantha Nestor has proven that she has what it takes to bring the town together to make these important decisions. She has truly earned my support and I ask you to join me in voting for Sam, Martin Mohabeer and the Democratic ticket.
