Letter to the Editor

TO THE EDITOR:

I am writing to enthusiastically support Samantha Nestor’s candidacy to continue as Weston’s First Selectman. As Chairman of the Planning & Zoning Commission, I have seen first-hand Samantha’s dedication to moving Weston forward in concert with our key Boards and Commissions. This includes:

• Completing our sidewalk projects begun by Chris Spaulding
• Creating our Village District to provide more amenities and diversified housing options in Weston
• Strong support for sustainability initiatives
• Emphasizing the Town’s commitment to social justice
• Dedication to supporting our schools
• Repairing our roads on an accelerated basis

Samantha has also demonstrated, during her short time in office, another critical element of strong leadership, which is communication with the community. Her periodic updates are keeping residents more informed than ever of developments and initiatives involving Town government.

For all of these reasons I strongly urge you to vote for Samantha in November!
