Letter to the Editor

TO THE EDITOR:

While we remain consumed by the C-virus, many Westonites have been walking and biking over the past few days to get exercise, and I suppose, to gain some release.

I walked a half mile stretch on Old Hyde today, and picked up over a dozen heavy duty plastic zip ties along the side of the road. These ties were presumably left by the crews who had installed new cables recently.

This is unacceptable. I am shocked that in today’s anti-plastic and environmentally sensitive world, this can happen. Tomorrow I will check Lord’s Highway.
