Farmers Market at Lachat, Friday

Lachat’s season of farmers markets opens on Friday, June 28, running from 4:00 to 8:00.

The markets offer an opportunity to catch up with Weston neighbors, shop, and enjoy live music. Food trucks are on hand as well. Goods on offer include local fresh produce, hearth-baked breads, local honey, jewelry, soaps, clothing, and more. You can even buy native and pollinator-friendly plants that were grown in Lachat’s greenhouse.

The June 28 market features music from 4:30 to 5:30 by singer-songwriter Canyon.

From 6:00 to 8:00, it’s “Gen X pub rock” as Bar Car Band takes the stage, playing a mix of original songs and favorites by the likes of The Pretenders, The B-52s, The Cure, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones.

Entry to the Farmers Market is free. To park on the main lower field lot, you need to reserve a spot here. It’s $20, but you get that back as tokens to spend with vendors, except the Barn Bar. You can park for free on the upper lot at 1 Ladder Hill Road South.

The markets take place on the last Friday of each month through September. An extra Winter Market is held close to the holidays.
