Soundscapes Piano Concert, Nov. 8

Acclaimed pianist Anthony Ratinov performs in the Sunday Soundscapes concert series on November 8 at the Weston Public Library, a preview of his upcoming recital at Carnegie Hall.

Mr. Ravinov’s performance will also be the maiden voyage for the library’s beautiful new Estonia grand piano. The show starts at 4:00.

Seating is limited, so it’s a good idea to make a reservation. Admission is free, but suggested donations of $20 for adults or $10 for students are more than welcome, and help keep the Soundscapes series going.

Mr. Ratinov won raves at his previous Soundscapes appearance, a program of Beethoven and Haydn trios two years ago. A graduate of Yale University and The Julliard School of Music, he has won awards at a number of prominent competitions in the U.S. and abroad, including at the National U.S. Chopin Competition.

The video below is from his celebrated performance at the International Chopin Competition in the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.

Sunday Soundscapes is a program by the Friends of the Weston Library.
