On Point: Singer-Songwriter MT Jones

Singer-songwriter MT Jones joins us from Liverpool as he begins an international tour that will bring him to Westport’s Levitt Pavilion on July 19.

He tells us about his hit album “Joy,” his journey from young musician to session player, then on to a solo career making his mark with original songs. He also talks about his creative process and the legendary robust Liverpool music scene.

At the end, we include a live studio performance of “Easy,” a track from the Joy album.
