A fine art exhibition titled “Weston Celebrates America 250” runs at the Weston Public Library throughout the month of July, and everyone is invited to an opening reception on Wednesday, July 8 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Works by around 50 artists from Weston and other towns are on display in the exhibition organized by Cindy Wagner and Nancy Klein of the Weston Commission for the Arts.

In addition to the exhibition, Ms. Wagner is conducting two free art classes at the library in July.

On Saturday, July 11 from 1:30 to 3:30, young artists over age eight can expand their drawing skills in a still life workshop. On Saturday, July 18 another still life class runs from 10:00 am to noon, this one for adults.

The classes are likely to fill up quickly, and registration is required. Sign up here.
