EcoFest, May 3

Nature and the environment take the spotlight on Sunday, May 3 at EcoFest, a free family event at Lachat Town Farm.

The event runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, featuring food, hands-on activities, local vendors, live music by student performers, and insights from community and environmental organizations about sustainability and conservation.

Highlight activities include a live animal showcase by Christine’s Critters and a presentation from the Wolf Conservation Center. Kids will also enjoy games, crafts, and exploring nature. Everyone can learn a lot about smart energy and recycling.

Speaking of recycling, for every batch of 25 redeemable bottles and cans you bring, you will be entered in a drawing with a chance to win $250.

You can also bring new or gently used children’s books for a Little Libraries book drive, collecting books for kids in underserved communities.
