The annual Spring Egg Hunt at Lachat Town Farm takes place this year on Saturday, April 4.

As a special feature, the team at Lachat has partnered with Weston Kiwanis to hold a Little Libraries book drive.

You can donate new or gently used children’s books for kids age 0 to 12 who live in underserved areas of the community.

Times for the egg hunt are 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, but at press time only the 1:00 slot is still available for registration, which can be done here. The cost is $20 per child.

Children will hunt for eggs in the meadow that can be turned in for prizes. They can also enjoy real bunnies, music, face painting, crafts, and a photo op with the farm’s Spring Bunny. A special Springtime Smores Bar will be open in the barn.

It’s a rain or shine event, all outdoors. Kids should bring their own baskets.
