ALT Adds Open Space

The Aspetuck Land Trust has announced an addition to its Weston Wilton Forest Reserve, the acquisition of 16 acres adjoining the Bill Kutik Honey Hill Preserve that will connect to a new pedestrian entrance.

The Land Trust announced that the property, “which will now be open space benefitting wildlife and the public forever,” was acquired from the estate of actor Christopher Plummer and included a “significant donation of land by Elaine Plummer.”

In the graphic below, the parcel acquired is drawn in red, as is the new pedestrian entrance off Honey Hill Road that will be added in 2026.
