Commissioners Honor Sgt. Daubert

Recently retired Weston Police Sergeant Patrick Daubert was honored by the Board of Police Commissioners on Tuesday evening, presented with a plaque recognizing 30 years of service to the town.

With members of his family present, Sgt. Daubert spoke of what being a police officer means to him: helping.

Police Chief Ed Henion said Sgt. Daubert “knows the town well” and is rightfully proud of being seen as a community helper, including by leading the Police Benevolent Association’s various charitable efforts.

In particular, said the chief, “Pat always went the extra mile to help victims, always followed through to make sure everyone was okay.”
