Mark Twain Book Fair, Labor Day Weekend

The 64th annual Mark Twain Library Book Fair takes place on all four days of Labor Day weekend, featuring more than 60,000 selections in 75 categories, geared to all ages.
It all happens at the Redding Community Center, 37 Lonetown Road in Redding, on Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1.
Entry is free, except for the first hour on Friday morning, when early birds can get first dibs for $20.
A special feature in this year’s event is a large collection from the estate of Mary Travers, volumes that filled nearly three dozen boxes.
Other highlights include a large number of vinyl records (including Beatles albums), a wide range of Civil War history books from a private collection, and numerous cookbooks, quilting books, photography, art, and coffee table books, many of The Great Courses on both CDs and DVDs, an array of Harlequin series romances from 2020 to 2025, and an assortment of games and puzzles.
