Democrats Endorse Slate

Registered Weston Democrats caucused on July 22 to select endorsed candidates for the November municipal election.
The party’s endorsed candidates are:
- Samantha Nestor for reelection as First Selectwoman.
- Tony Pesco for reelection to the Board of Selectmen.
- Deborah Low, Lisa Luft, and Nicole Wallach for the Board of Education.
- Chris Bryant and Daniel Gershburg for the Board of Finance.
- Sally Korsh and Megan Loucas for reelection to the Planning & Zoning Commission.
- John Dembishack and Steve Ezzes for the Board of Police Commissioners.
- Anne Kendall for reelection to the Board of Assessment Appeals.
- Richard Ruggiero for the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Most on the Democratic slate are endorsed for offices they already hold. Exceptions include Ms. Wallach, Mr. Ruggiero, and Ms. Low, who was a member and chair of Wilton’s Board of Education before relocating to Weston. She also served as Weston’s interim schools superintendent for three months this spring.
Mr. Ezzes, endorsed for the Police Commission, currently chairs the Board of Education. His previous service includes several years as a member and chair of the Board of Finance.
