Used Bicycles Sought

Lightly used bicycles — or even broken ones that can be used for parts — and used sneakers and backpacks are being collected by the Knights of Columbus at St. Francis of Assisi Church in support of the Open Doors Foundation.

Donations of such items suitable for toddlers to teens can be dropped off at St. Francis (35 Norfield Road) on these dates:

• Saturday May 31, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
• Sunday June 1, from noon to 3:00 pm

The nonprofit Open Doors Foundation provides academic, athletic, and pre-professional enrichment programs to low-income students in Fairfield County and the Caribbean.
