Drug Take Back Day, Saturday

On Saturday, April 26 the Weston Police Department will again participate in the Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA) National Drug Take Back Day.

The collection site will be at the main entrance to the Weston Police Department (upper lobby). It will take place from 10:00 am through 2:00 pm.

Members of the public are welcome to bring any unused or excess medication to be anonymously collected and safely destroyed to keep drugs out of the wrong hands.

Collection of the drugs also helps prevent contamination of Weston’s groundwater. For the safety of collectors, sharps (needles) should not be deposited into the Take Back drop box.
