Sunday Soundscapes, May 4

eGALitarian Brass, a chamber ensemble of top New York City women brass players, performs at the new edition of Sunday Soundscapes at the Weston Public Library on Sunday, May 4.
The show starts at 4:00. Reservations are recommended. Admission is free. Suggested donations at the door are $20 for adults, $10 for students.
eGALitarian Brass plays music in a variety of styles ranging from classical and jazz to popular hits. The ensemble has performed at numerous festivals, including Newport Classical, Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival, Women Composer’s Festival of Hartford, and the International Women’s Brass Conference.
The group has also been an Ensemble in Residence at Rutgers University, Sacred Heart University, and Marist College, performing recitals and delivering master classes and leading panel discussions.
Sunday Soundscapes, sponsored by Friends of the Weston Library, made its debut in September of 2023. The popular series has covered a range of musical genres, including opera, jazz, flute and guitar, strings, piano and strings, the Great American Songbook, and contemporary woodwinds.
