Lois Albert, 87

Lois (Bent) Albert, 87, of Avon, beloved wife of Burton (Burt) Albert, Jr., went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 13, 2025.

Born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and raised in Stamford, CT, Lois was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (Carlson) Bent, Jr. She earned a Business Administration degree from Upsala College and worked as an Executive Assistant before dedicating her life to her family.

Lois and Burt married in 1963 and lived in Stamford, Norwalk, Weston, CT, and East Dennis, MA, before settling in Avon. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was also a faithful Christian, active in churches wherever she lived. Lois was a true prayer warrior who prayed for her family and friends throughout her life. One of her greatest joys was seeing generations of her family leading faithful lives committed to Jesus Christ.

She leaves behind her husband, Burt; daughter Heather Dyer and son-in-law Michael Dyer of Avon (CT) and daughter Kelley Albert of Windsor (CT); grandchildren Brianna Dyer (London, England) and Brendan Dyer of Avon (CT); and sister Millicent Murdock of St. Petersburg (FL).

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 11:00 am at Valley Community Baptist Church, 590 West Avon Road, Avon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. Condolences may be shared at www.carmonfuneralhome.com.
