Jazz Duo Performs, March 16

Straight from the New York jazz scene, it’s guitarist Matthew Rotker-Lynn and vocalist Ariana Stefanidis at the latest Sunday Soundscapes edition on Sunday, March 16 at the Weston Public Library.

The duo’s performance of jazz classics, bossa nova hits, and original compositions starts at 4:00. Reservations are recommended. Donations of $20 adults for adults or $10 for students are suggested and helpful, but not required.

Mr. Rotker-Lynn has made the circuit of top New York jazz venues, among them Smalls, Cellar Dog, the 1905, the Django, the Roxy, and Cafe Bohemia. He recently recorded a six-song EP on the Cellar Live label.

Ms. Stefanidis has taken the stage at Manhattan’s 55 Bar and was a finalist in the 2021 Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition. She frequently is a studio singer for R&B and pop artists and, with Mr. Rotker-Lynn, can be heard on the jazz EP “I Understand.”
