For a special treat on Valentine’s Day, an authentic French cabaret at Lachat Town Farm features live performances by French musicians and singers of selections from the classic songbooks of Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Carla Bruni, Dalida, and others.

Doors open on February 14 at 6:00 pm. It’s free — a French kiss from Lachat and the Weston Commission for the Arts — but you need to reserve tickets. Tickets are scheduled to be available on Friday morning, January 24 on the Lachat website at 10:00 am. They will probably go quickly.

Seat are general admission, but when you get tickets you will have a chance to buy a package to reserve a beverage, food board, and cocktail table, first come first served. A cash bar will be open during the performance.

Performers, from left to right in the photo above, include Melani Carrié, a hapa (Japanese-French) actress, singer, and classical pianist, Gabrielle Besse, a Parisian singer based in New York City, and Marion Stenfort, a French singer-songwriter, actress and playwright. (Ms. Carrié and Ms. Stenfort appeared in “Once” at Lachat last year.)

This will be the third collaboration between the Commission for the Arts and Lachat Town Farm for a special event in Weston. Previous productions include musical performances in “Broadway Swings” last year and, this month, an exclusive screening of “Bonnie and Clyde, The Musical” with a genuine speakeasy on premises and a Q&A with the Weston playwright Ivan Menchell.
