Weston History & Culture Center offers guided tours of the Coley House for the holidays, lit by holiday lights and candlelight, decorated as it would have been in the 1940s.
Tours take place on December 20, 21 and 22 at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm.
Tickets, which must be purchased in advance here, are $15 for WHCC members and $25 for non-members.
The mid-19th century farmhouse, located on the center’s grounds, was occupied by the last three generations of the Coley family.
On the tour, you can see authentic 1930s and 1940s holiday decorations, learn how World War II affected celebrations in America, taste wartime Holiday Ration recipes, and listen to original radio broadcasts featuring Bing Crosby and Judy Garland, all by candlelight.
