Support for the Food Pantry, Nov. 23

A collection in support of the Weston Food Pantry takes place on Saturday, November 23 at the shopping center, next to Lily’s Weston Market.
From 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, members of the Weston Kiwanis Club will welcome donations of shelf-stable food and healthcare products.
The food pantry’s mission is to stock non-perishable items so that no one in Weston goes hungry. Needed are non-perishable unexpired foods, pet food, toiletries, and household products and cleaners. As examples:
- Canned fish and meat, such as tuna, salmon, chicken, and ham.
- Breakfast food such as oatmeal, cereal, pancake mix, and syrup.
- Drinks: apple juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water.
- Paper towels and toilet paper.
- Shampoo and conditioner.
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes.
- Laundry detergent.
- All-purpose cleaners.
- Cat and dog food.
Cash donations are also welcome.
