As a security matter, the Weston Public School district has formally closed campus facilities to the public during school hours, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Off limits during those hours are the playgrounds and recess areas at the Hurlbutt Elementary, Weston Intermediate, and Weston Middle schools. Also the track, tennis courts, and fields.

In addition, while pedestrians have access to the public sidewalks on School Road, the sidewalks on campus around Hurlbutt and WIS are closed between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.

The auxiliary road between WIS and Weston High School (highlighted in red on the first graphic below) is closed to vehicles and pedestrians between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm, except during arrival and dismissal times. The same is true for the road leading to the back of WMS (highlighted in red on the second graphic).
