Jeffrey Kevin Tallman, 78, of Weston, Connecticut died on August 18, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on November 13, 1945 to the late Clifford and Yolanda Tallman in Mobile, Alabama.
He is a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, where he was a starting halfback on the State Championship team. He attended Cheshire Academy and Central Connecticut State University. He served in the U.S. Marine Reserves for six years.
Jeff was an owner of Tallman Builders in Southport CT, J. Tallman Builders in Weston CT, and Tallman Segerson Builders in Fairfield CT. Jeff was an avid photographer, woodworker, and prolific artist. Jeff will be remembered by those whom he met, knew and loved as the kind and giving man he was.
Jeff is survived by his wife Ariane of 58 years of Weston CT and by his sons, Jude (Kathleen), Josh, and daughter Morgan (Justin), four brothers Cliff (Connie), Perry, Paul (Alease), Peter (Sandra) and two sisters Betty McParland (Kevin deceased) and Lili (Rob Mason). He was devoted to his grandchildren, Mason and Miller Tallman and Ophelia Cribari.
A wake will be held Friday, October 18 from 3:30 to 5:30 at The Scandinavian Club, 1351 South Pine Creek Road, Fairfield CT.
Jeff’s grandson, Mason, was born with POLR3B, a form of leukodystrophy, a degenerative brain disease. The Yaya Foundation is actively working to find a treatment and ultimately a cure for this rare disease. Please consider a contribution in lieu of flowers.
