At its monthly meeting on September 3, the Weston Board of Police Commissioners honored former member Jess DiPasquale, whose final term ended last November.

Commission chair Beth Gralnick presented a plaque to Mr. DiPasquale recognizing his 20 years of service on the board.

“I’ve enjoyed serving with all of you,” said Mr. DiPasquale. “We’ve done some tremendous things over the years.” Throughout that time, he said, members “always worked together, regardless of party affiliation.”

Commissioner Dawn Egan agreed, and praised Mr. DiPasquale for his “hard work as part of the small team” that overcame concerns and hesitation to place School Resource Officers (SROs) in Weston schools.
