Whatever Happened to … ?

Pinocchio commutes? (Weston Today illustration)

The folks who brought “Once” to Lachat Town Farm are doing it again, this time with an immersive comedy for all ages that runs on May 17, 18, and 19.

“FairyTale Farm” may hold the answer to an age-old question: whatever happened to Hansel and Gretel, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Goldilocks, Baby Bear, and other fairytale characters after they allegedly lived happily ever after? Did they?

All we know so far, from the teaser, is that Hansel and Gretel apparently put on a bit of weight during Covid, Pinocchio may be a little lost at sea (figuratively, this time), and Sleeping Beauty talks to goats (or something like that). Goldie and Baby are about to appear on Shark Tank. Did they get a deal, or no deal?

The show, with games and stories, is written and designed to be fun for ages 5 to “I’m not telling.” It runs at the farm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 17, 18, and 19. Entrance times on Friday are 5:00 and 6:30. On Saturday and Sunday, it’s 12:00 noon and 1:30.

Tickets, $25, are available on Lachat’s website. Food and drink will be available to purchase.
