NOTICE OF REFERENDUM
MAY 18, 2024

The electors and *qualified taxpayers of the Town of Weston, Connecticut are hereby notified and warned that a Referendum will be held in the Meeting Room of Town Hall, 56 Norfield Road, Weston, Connecticut, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The following question shall be placed upon the voting machine:

Shall the Capital Improvement Budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 as determined by the Board of Finance on May 9th 2024 be approved?

* CGS Sec. 7-6 “… any person who is an elector of such Town may vote and any citizen of the United States of the age of eighteen years or more who, jointly or severally, is liable to the town, district or subdivision for taxes assessed against him on an assessment of not less than one thousand dollars on the last completed grand list of such town, district or subdivision, or who would be so liable if not entitled to an exemption under subdivision (17), (19), (22), (23), (25), or (26) of Section 12-81, may vote, unless restricted by the provisions of any special act relating to such town, district or subdivision.”

Absentee ballots are available at the Town Clerk’s Office, 56 Norfield Rd beginning Friday May 10th until Friday May 17th from 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM.
