Callie Frazier Tyrrell, 83, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2024 in Naples, Florida. She was born December 18, 1940 in Oxford, North Carolina the daughter of Reba and D.C. Frazier.

Callie graduated from Oxford High School, attended Meredith College, and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. After college Callie worked for IBM in New York City. It was New York City where she met Gerald J. Tyrrell, they married on May 5, 1973. Over the years they lived in New York City, Weston, Connecticut, and Naples, Florida.

Callie enjoyed decorating, golf, and socials. The true loves of her life were her grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Gerald J. Tyrrell; daughter, Lindsay T. Hardy (Tim); grandchildren, Jake, Abby, and Dylan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens. A funeral service will be on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Naples Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Hodges Funeral Home in the wine room.
