Sunday Soundscapes: Serenade Duo

Weston is about to be serenaded by flute and guitar, when the ensemble Serenade Duo perform at the Weston Public Library on March 24.

The concert is the latest in the Sunday Soundscapes series, which so far has won raves from SRO audiences for performances by Vermont Opera and violinist Jason Anick with his combo.

Serenade Duo — flutist Michelle Saulter and guitarist Gerry Saulter — have toured throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada, appearing at a variety of venues including Carnegie Hall and Merkin Concert Hall, playing beautiful melodies by some of the world’s most famous composers.

The award-winning Duo are concert and recording artists for Centaur Records, Alhambra Guitars, Miyazawa Flutes, Celestine Flute Rexonator, RC Strings, and Fishman Music.

The show starts on the 24th at 4:00 pm. The suggested donation at the door is $20 for adults, $10 for students, or an amount more manageable. Reservations can be made in advance online.

Sunday Soundscapes is sponsored by the Friends of the Weston Library, who appreciate donations to support the series.
