Appointments

In their January 18 meeting, the Board of Selectmen appointed Chris Frawley as a temporary alternate member of the Board of Assessment Appeals.

The three-member board is elected, but the state allows towns to appoint alternates, a helpful provision in years (like this one) when a townwide property revaluation is conducted (which happens every five years).

Mr. Frawley is currently Gift Planning Officer for the greater New York region of the American Red Cross. He has extensive experience as a relationship manager in financial services, in 1995 was elected to the first of four terms as deputy mayor of the Village of Tuckahoe, New York, and served as a captain in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division.
