On January 18, the Board of Selectmen hired Melissa Seeley to be the new Weston animal control officer.

She officially comes on board on January 22, taking over from Mark Harper, who retired in December.

Ms. Seeley has seven years of experience in animal control in Woodbury and, for the last two years, the town of Bethlehem. She told the Selectmen she gives high priority to being responsive and highly visible and engaged with the community.

“I am so looking forward to this,” she said. “Weston is absolutely gorgeous, and so scenic!”
