Scenes from the Bonfire

The annual Community Bonfire at Emmanuel Church took place on Saturday evening, benefitting the Weston Warm-Up Fund. Some scenes:

Each year, the bonfire is supervised by the Weston Volunteer Fire Department. After the holiday season, residents supply Christmas trees for the blaze along with cash donations that help the Weston Warm-Up Fund help residents who need a hand keeping their homes warm in the winter.

Donations directly to Warm-Up are welcome throughout the year, and can be made on the fund’s website. On the same page, those needing assistance can find out how to apply.

The Weston Warm-Up Fund has been operating since 1981 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
