Weston Volunteer EMS honored members for outstanding service in 2023 and several as longtime volunteers. Awards went to:

• Waldo Van Riemsdijk, EMT of the Year
• Adria Belport, the Dave Geismar Community Service Award
• Henry McElligott, Tom Janson, Waldo van Riemsdijk, Sharon Jaffe, Elena Moffly, Mark Norman, and Ryan Blake, the Cardiac Arrest Save Unit Citation
• Chief Michael Schlechter and J.T. Solazzo for 20 years of service
• Deputy Chief Ben Frimmer, Captain Chris Bradbury, Don Kendall, and Joanne Fazarri for 10 years of service
• Jon Loeser, 5 years of service
