Norfield Congregational Church will celebrate Christmas with three worship services on Christmas Eve at 4:00, 6:00, and 8:00.
The 4:00 service is family friendly, geared toward children, featuring a shadow puppet Nativity play mastered by Norfield Director of Music Dr. David Connell, assisted by Casey Lerner and narrated by Rev. Jack Mahoney. The service lasts about 45 minutes.
Rev. Dr. Bernard Wilson will preach at the 6:00 and 8:00 services with scripture readings and Christmas carols. The Norfield Sanctuary Choir and a brass ensemble will perform.
All are welcome to attend these free, public services. They often fill up, so arriving early is encouraged. The Christmas Eve services will be livestreamed and then available on-demand on the Norfield Congregational YouTube channel. Traditional Sunday services are held year-round at 10:00 am. More information is available on the church website.
