An entertaining program at The Westport Library on December 12 focused on the impact of music on a variety of art forms in a range of venues.

The multimedia program, “Music, the Soundtrack of Our Lives,” was presented by John Brandt of the Y’s Men of Westport-Weston. “From the concert hall, to iconic stage productions, to films of every description,” said Mr. Brandt, “music has become the underscore that carries us along.” His presentation included a number of video clips and a guest appearance by Carole Schweid, a member of the original Broadway the cast of “A Chorus Line.”
