For the 116th year, the annual Family Fair at Emmanuel Episcopal Church (285 Lyons Plain Road) runs on Saturday, October 14 from 11:00 to 4:00, rain or shine. Admission is free.
The fair features good food, good music, and plenty of games and activities for kids, including a bouncy house, pony rides, and a petting zoo.
The popular Country Kitchen is back again, offering baked-from-scratch apple pie, crisps, cookies, fall breads, rum cakes, and more. A variety of items from vendors and local artists will be on offer.
For a silent auction, items and experiences have been donated by community businesses and artisans, including flying experiences at Danbury airport, tickets to the Metropolitan Opera, and more.
Two local youth bands perform: “Fever,” led by Billy Stammer, and “Moss,” led by Sophie Levy. At noon, singers from New Paradigm Theatre take the stage.
More information about the fair can be found at emmanuelwestonct.org or by calling the church office at (203) 227-8565.
