County Assemblies Seeks Volunteers

The County Assemblies, the nonprofit that puts on the County Assembly Charity Balls for high school juniors and the Red & White Charity Balls for high school seniors, needs adults willing and able to serve on its Board.

In 2023 the charity balls returned for the 85th year after a two-year absence caused by the pandemic. But, as it stands, the organization says a current shortage of volunteers will make it impossible to schedule 2024 events, which raise money for charities that serve children and teens in Fairfield County.

Adult board members are needed who are parents of students in the Weston High School classes of 2024 and 2025.

Those interested can email info@thecountyassemblies.org for more information about the Charity Balls and how to be a part of the Board. The deadline is Monday, July 31.
