Drug Takeback Day, April 22

On Saturday, April 22 the Weston Police Department will again participate in the Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA) National Drug Takeback Day.

The collection site will be at the main entrance to the Weston Police Department (upper lobby). It will take place from 10:00 am through 2:00 pm.

Members of the public are welcome to bring any unused or excess medication to be anonymously collected and safely destroyed to keep drugs out of the reach of our children.

Collection of the drugs will also help prevent pharmaceutical contamination of our drinking water supply. We ask that needles, aka “sharps” not be brought in for the safety of the collectors.
