Kiwanis Seeks Volunteers for Reservoir Run

The annual Kiwanis Reservoir Run takes place this year on Sunday, October 23. Organizers invite volunteers to help make the race, which raises funds for children’s charities and Weston High School programs, a success.

The Run, which starts and finishes on School Road, includes a 5K around Town Center and a half marathon route down Valley Forge Road alongside the reservoir.

Volunteers are needed to help keep the hundreds of runners who participate safe and hydrated. Needed are:

  • Course safety directors: adults at 12 intersections to ensure runners go the right way.
  • Table captains: adults at seven water stations where runners can get hydration.
  • Four or more people who can help issue bibs and jerseys to runners.
