The annual Emmanuel Episcopal Church Family Fair runs this year on Saturday, October 15.
The 115th edition of the popular Fair takes place rain or shine on the parish grounds from noon to 5:00. Emmanuel Church is at 285 Lyons Plain Road.
The Fair features music, food, kids activities, all kinds of goods sold in booths, and auctions.
Kids will enjoy a bounce house (with new prizes this year), instruction on Halloween lantern-making ($20 per child) and a variety of games.
Everyone will enjoy hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, and apple cider.
Special features include a country kitchen bake sale and a chocolate chip cookie contest, which is judged by K-2 students. (Those who want to enter the competition need to bring in their cookies by noon.)
For music, at noon it’s the popular Karl Schulz Trio, followed at 1:00 by Kristin Huffman’s talented student singers. At 2:00, the band Fever performs, followed at 3:00 by the WesTones a capella group, led by Elizabeth Morris. Mr. Schulz and his trio return at 3:30 to close the show.
Vendor booths typically offer items ranging from baked goods to jewelry, kids crafts kits, handmade items and more.
