Football Mini-Camp Features Giants Star

A football “skills challenge” mini-camp on Wednesday, July 13 for kids age 8 – 14 features an appearance by former New York Giants receiver Mario Manningham, whose legendary catch (pictured above) in Super Bowl XLVI led to the Giants’ championship win over the New England Patriots.

The camp runs from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on the 13th at the Weston High School football field. Every participant gets a photo and Mr. Manningham’s autograph. Registration at westonfootball.com is $50 per person, with proceeds going to the Weston football program.

The event is designed to be an enjoyable community activity with a fun competition for prizes. Lily’s Weston Market, sponsors of the event, is also donating beverages. Weston High School coaches and varsity players will run passing and catching clinics for groups of eight to ten, organized by age.
