Shred Papers, Recycle Computers on May 7

It’s been a while since there was a shredding day in Weston, but the Friends of the Weston Public Library are bringing it back on Saturday, May 7, with an added offer to recycle old computers.

It all takes place at the Hurlbutt Elementary School bus loop from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the process is easy.

All you have to do is show up, pay, take your receipt, and drive up to the shredding truck. You can pay by cash, check, or Venmo.

The price is $10 for each box of papers up to 10 by 12 by 15 inches. Your old computer can be recycled for $20. The hard drive will be destroyed.

Proceeds will help the Friends fund adult and children’s programs at the library.
