Weston Walks to Honor Educators

Starting on Saturday, June 19, the Weston Education Foundation has organized an end-of-school virtual fundraiser to celebrate the resilience, perseverance, and achievements of Weston’s educational community during this unprecedented and challenging time.

Through Sunday, June 27, “Weston Walks” is a safe and family-friendly event. Walk, run, jog, or cycle at home in a gym or safely on the town’s streets and scenic trails.

Weston High School student Keona Patel came up with the idea. “If there’s anything these past fifteen months have proven,” she said, “it’s that we can come together to support one another in incredible ways. Weston walks together!”

Weston Education Foundation hopes you will join them in appreciating Weston educators, staff, students, and Board of Education members by becoming part of their fundraising team or directly contributing a donation to their school-based grants.

There are three ways to donate, register for the team, or get more information about the campaign.

The organization fosters excellence and innovation in schools and the community by providing funds for initiatives that fall outside budgets. Donations make their efforts possible.
