Senior Center Entrance Improved

One might expect that, of all buildings, the entrance to a senior center would be compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disability Act.

But Weston’s Senior Activities Center wasn’t, until the Board of Selectmen approved funding earlier this year, following increasingly urgent urgings, particularly by Richard Wolf, a member of the town’s Commission on Aging (and, it seems at times, every Town commission or committee).

The Senior Activities Center hasn’t been open much this year, and probably won’t be for some time. But the work to make the entrance safe is done.
