P&Z Hearing on Apartments, December 5

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hear from the public on Saturday morning, December 5, about a petition to increase the allowable size of in-house apartments.

The hearing takes place at 10:30 on Zoom.

As Margaret Wirtenberg reported in October, the size of accessory apartments in Weston homes is currently limited to 800 square feet and a maximum 25 percent of floor area.

The petition proposes increasing the limit to 900 square feet and amending the definition of habitable space.
