For flu and pneumonia vaccinations, RVNAhealth accepts Medicare Part B, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, ConnectiCare, and Harvard Pilgrim. Payment by those on other plans can still be submitted for reimbursement. Options also exist for those with a financial hardship.

These clinics are for those age 65 and up, but RVNAhealth’s regular service offers free vaccinations for ages 18 and under regardless of insurance status.

About RVNAhealth

At RVNAhealth, flu vaccinations are administered by professional nurses, adhering to strict infection control and hygiene practices. The facility, treatment rooms, and equipment undergo extensive cleaning measures and a newly-installed filtration system to ensure safety.

RVNAhealth Community Health Nurse April Rodriguez, RN, said, “We have added these clinics in response to the many recent inquiries we have received from seniors concerned about getting their high-dose flu shots.”

“Many have been unable to find high dose, or make an appointment to receive their vaccine. RVNAhealth has a solid supply of flu vaccines, both high-dose and regular, and a great corps of nurses. We are glad to be able to offer these clinics to put minds at ease and protect our communities.”
