At the end of the first half, Weston leads Killingly 20-6.

Trojans scored on the first play of the game on a 50 yard pass from James Goetz to John Cassol.

Shortly after recovering a fumble, Killingly scored on a quarterback sneak, but Jack Sawyer blocked the extra point. Weston took over and marched down the field mostly on runs by Tyler Bower and James Goetz. Bower scored on an 8 yard run. The extra point kick was blocked, leaving Weston ahead 13-6.

Following a failed Killingly fourth down attempt, Weston got the ball back but were stopped and punted. On the next possession, Killingly was driven back to their own 20 after suffering two consecutive sacks. A short punt gave Weston the ball at the Killingly 42.

A long pass completion from Goetz to Jack Sawyer put Weston on the Killingly 3. Bower ran it in for the touchdown, and the point-after was good. A late drive by Killingly came up short. At the end of the half Weston had the 20-6 lead.
